CLUB COACH
It wasn't until considerable expansion took place with the Club during the last seventies that there was any need for an offical coach to oversee training. In general, whoever was elected club captain was expected to supervise training nights as part of his duties. It was decided to appoint a professional coach for the 1979-80 season and with the exception of the period 1980-83, when two club stalwarts were co-opted to share the coaching, the club policy has been to have a professional coach.
